Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I install PhotoPrinto?

See the installation instructions here.

How do I buy PhotoPrinto?

Buy PhotoPrinto now from our web store. To buy from within the product itself, or via fax or phone, click here for instructions.

Can I share my photo album on the web?

You can export your photo album as HTML for publishing to a web site by choosing Export from the File menu, and then choosing Web Pages as the export Format. For detailed instructions, consult the PhotoPrinto help.

You can publish the index HTML file and album folder to your web server by any of the means you normally employ (for example, ftp, webdav, and the Sites folder of your .mac account).

My head is cut off. What can I do?

If you double-click on a photo, it will switch into content tool mode and allow you to fine tune the zoom and positioning of an imported photo within the given frame.

How do I select a single item when there are a lot of items on the page?

If there is an item partially or completely hidden, click and hold the mouse down somewhere close by where there are no other items. Drag the selection rectangle toward the hidden item until it is selected. You can see when a hidden item is selected because its handles will appear, even if you can't see the item at all. Deselect any unwanted items by holding down the shift key and click on the item(s).

Use the Lock item in the Arrange menu to lock an item which is obscuring one or more other items. Once locked, that item cannot be selected. Locking works especially well if you have a large image or photo that is covers all or most of a page, and you are using it as a background or texture. Unlock All in the Arrange menu unlocks every locked item on the page.

I need to use a 12" x 12" paper size for my scrapbooks. Is there a template for this format?

In the Template window, under Category, choose Scrapbook Layouts. There are two blank designs in 12" x 12" and 8" x 8" formats, and two simple templates with photo slot already added to the pages.

I've lost my serial number. How can I get it again?
